We are working our way up to more considerable drives, but she is alive. And she’s hungry.
Damn, should have done a quickie photoshoot. Will do one on a less crummy day than today. Also, after it gets a much deserved bath.
There may be faster, better handling cars, b ut nothing beats the shrill fun of a muscle car . The torque is incredible, it just launches you. The engine may be muffled, but it is screaming and thrashing about. I haven’t even gone above 1/2 throttle yet. With these monster 245 section width tires it just bites at low speeds. The addition of the functional shaker flap is just wonderful, and the exhaust sounds like a demonic french horn.
I am starting to remember why I love cars again. Did I accidentally make a good decision for once? Perhaps only time will tell.

I might have missed it, but do you have pictures of the shaker flap installed?

Just the flap w orks suprisingly well. Not sure why you would need a solenoid operated kit. I guess a 6.6l moves a lot of air

I figured from when you were still planning this that the flap would be sucked open. I’m happy to see that’s actually the case.

A muscle/pony car’s sole purpose in existence is to put a smile on your face. If this one has rekindled your love of cars, it’s a safe bet to say “Mission Accomplished”
